About Action for ME

Action for ME (www.afme.org.uk) is the UK's leading charity dedicated to improving the lives of people with M.E. We've been at the forefront of the campaign for more research, better treatments and services since 1987, and we provide information and support to people affected by M.E. The goals of Action for ME include:

• to campaign for better recognition, research, care and benefits for ME sufferers
• to fund research, particularly into treatments for ME
• to raise public awareness of ME within the government, media, health care organizations the general population
• to provide information, self-help and support services to people with ME, their caregivers, families and friends
