The effects of endoscopic sinus surgery on level of fatigue in patients with chronic rhinosinusitis - Source: American Journal of Rhinology, Jul-Aug 2008
Fatigue is common with rhinosinusitis, but worse in those who also have FM. A comparative study of 272 patients found a significantly greater reduction of fatigue for FM patients than for others following endoscopic sinus surgery – and the more severe the previous fatigue, the greater the improvement.
